Welcome Gathering

A cozy first chapter to the retreat, giving guests a chance to meet, mingle, and begin building meaningful connections and receive their thoughtfully curated welcome bags.

Welcome Dinner

Guests are invited to share a warm, unhurried meal together while continuing to deepen connections and enjoy the excitement of our secret book exchange.

Mindful Morning Practice

Ease into the day together with warm coffee, fresh smoothies, and a gentle journalling session to set an intentional tone for the hours ahead.

Yoga

A calm, grounding start to the day with soft movement and mindful breath work suitable for all levels.

Afternoon Tea at The Butchart Gardens

Enjoy a charming afternoon tea at The Butchart Gardens, where the seasonally crafted menu of delicate pastries, fresh scones, and fragrant teas are served amid the timeless beauty of blooming gardens and peaceful pathways.

Reading Time

While the retreat includes a handful of thoughtfully curated activities, guests will enjoy abundant, unhurried Reading Time—ample space to curl up with a book, wander to a quiet corner, or simply sink into the pleasure of uninterrupted literary escape.

Book Discussion

On our final evening, guests will gather for a guided book discussion—a warm, thoughtful conversation that brings the retreat’s chosen book to life and offers space to share insights, reflections, and meaningful connection.

Farewell Brunch

A warm, relaxed closing to the retreat, giving guests a final chance to connect, reflect, and savour one last meal together before heading home.

The Ocean King Room

Rest, relax, and recharge in The Ocean King room, located on our second floor and third floors. Each room provides a unique view of the marina, the bay, and stands of coastal trees on distant mountains. The sliding glass door leads outside to a private balcony where you can sit and take it all in. They feature a king-size bed, gas fireplace & floor to ceiling windows.

A luxurious and spacious bathroom features a large jetted tub, separate shower, granite countertops and Tyneham bath products for your enjoyment.

The Ocean Twin Room

Quiet and accessible, The Ocean Twin room is the perfect room to share with a friend or someone close. Located on our top floor with high ceilings, you will feel open and free. The glass door leads outside to a private balcony looking over the bay to the beautiful mountains. They feature two twin-size beds and a spacious walk-in (accessible) shower.
